TERMS OF SERVICE

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the GSA Sports Life mobile application or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a minor, you (as the parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms on behalf of that minor and assume full responsibility for their use of the Service.

GSA Sports Life is intended for K-12 athletes, coaches, trainers, parents and guardians, scouts, and fans of youth sports. By creating an account, you represent that:

• All information you provide during registration is accurate and current.
• You will keep your account information up to date.
• You are the authorized user of the email address used to register.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction, or your parent or guardian has done so on your behalf.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not create an account using false information or on behalf of someone other than yourself without authorization.

GSA Sports Life serves K-12 athletes, including users under the age of 13 and users between 13 and 17. We take the safety of minor users seriously.

• Users under 13 may only use the Service with verifiable parental or guardian consent, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
• Users under 18 who wish to use features that involve public profile visibility, messaging, or recruiting-related features should do so with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
• GSA Sports Life provides guardian permission tools to assist parents in supervising their athlete's account.

If you are a parent or guardian of a minor who uses GSA Sports Life, you are responsible for:

• Supervising your child's use of the Service.
• Reviewing your child's profile and content for appropriateness.
• Ensuring your child understands and follows these Terms and our Community Guidelines.
• Contacting us promptly if you believe your child's account is being used in violation of these Terms or in a way that raises safety concerns.

You agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of your minor child and accept responsibility for any use of the Service by your child.

Your profile is your public identity on GSA Sports Life. Athletes may add sport, position, school, grade, jersey number, height, weight, bio, achievements, and statistics to their profile.

• You are responsible for ensuring that all profile information you provide is accurate.
• Do not impersonate any person, athlete, coach, or organization.
• Coach profiles are subject to a role verification process. Submitting false credentials for verification is a violation of these Terms.
• Profile information that is publicly visible may be seen by coaches, scouts, other athletes, and visitors to the GSA Sports Life website.

GSA Sports Life does not guarantee that your profile will be viewed by any specific coach, scout, college, or recruiter, and does not guarantee any athletic opportunities, scholarship offers, or recruiting outcomes as a result of using the Service.

You retain ownership of content you post on GSA Sports Life (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant GSA Sports Life a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content within the Service and in connection with promoting the Service, for as long as you maintain an account.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to post the content.
• Your content does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
• Your content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
• You have obtained appropriate consent before posting images or videos of other individuals, particularly minors.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. GSA Sports Life does not endorse any User Content and has no obligation to pre-screen it, though we reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

When you upload photos or videos to GSA Sports Life:

• You confirm that you have the right to share the media.
• Do not post media that depicts minors in any inappropriate, sexual, or exploitative manner.
• Do not post media that was recorded without the subject's knowledge or consent where such consent is required.
• Do not post media that belongs to a third party without permission.

GSA Sports Life provides direct messaging features to enable communication between users. By using these features, you agree:

• Not to use messaging to harass, threaten, solicit, or distribute unsolicited commercial messages.
• Not to use messaging to contact minors for any inappropriate purpose.
• Not to use messaging to distribute content that violates these Terms.
• That conversations may be reviewed by our team if reported for violations of our Community Guidelines.

Users can block any contact and report any conversation using the in-app tools.

You agree to use GSA Sports Life only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the platform.

Acceptable uses include:

• Sharing legitimate athletic highlights, achievements, and sports content.
• Connecting with teammates, coaches, and sports communities.
• Exploring and discovering athletes and teams.
• Following and engaging with sports content that aligns with Community Guidelines.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, intimidating, or defamatory toward any person.
• Post sexually explicit content of any kind.
• Post content that depicts, exploits, or endangers minors.
• Impersonate any individual, coach, organization, or brand.
• Post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Post false or misleading information, including false athletic credentials or fabricated achievements.
• Use the Service to solicit money, goods, or services through deceptive means.
• Use the Service for unauthorized commercial advertising or spam.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or to our systems.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to collect data from the Service without our written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

GSA Sports Life is designed to help athletes share their athletic journey and be discovered by coaches, scouts, and sports communities. By using recruiting-related features of the Service, you acknowledge that:

• GSA Sports Life is a communications and discovery platform, not a recruiting agency.
• GSA Sports Life does not guarantee that any coach, scout, college, university, or professional organization will view your profile or contact you.
• GSA Sports Life does not guarantee scholarship offers, roster placement, trial invitations, or any athletic opportunities.
• All athletic credentials, statistics, and information you post must be accurate. Posting false or misleading athletic information is a violation of these Terms.
• Coaches and scouts using the platform are responsible for conducting their own due diligence on any athlete information they review.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information in your profile and posts. Posting materially false information — including fabricated athletic achievements, statistics, credentials, or endorsements — is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension or termination.

The GSA Sports Life name, logo, app design, software, and all related trademarks and content owned by GSA Sports Life are the exclusive property of GSA Sports Life and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service.
• You may not use the GSA Sports Life name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.
• You retain ownership of User Content you post, subject to the license granted to us under Section 6.

We expect all users to contribute to a safe and positive community. All users may report posts, comments, profiles, and conversations that they believe violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines using the in-app reporting tools.

• Reports are reviewed by our team and acted upon based on the severity of the violation.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms at any time and without prior notice.
• We take safety reports involving minors with the highest priority.
• For urgent safety concerns, email us with "SAFETY" in the subject line.

GSA Sports Life reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, at our sole discretion, for:

• Violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• Conduct that we determine poses a safety risk to other users, particularly minors.
• Providing false information during registration or in your profile.
• Any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

If your account is suspended or terminated, you may not create a new account without our prior written consent. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the reason for termination where required by applicable law.

You may permanently delete your account at any time from inside the GSA Sports Life mobile app:

You will receive a confirmation warning before deletion is processed. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your posts, messages, and profile data will be permanently removed. If you cannot access the app, contact us at support@gsalife.app to request manual deletion.

The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, websites, or platforms. These Terms do not apply to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service before using it.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• GSA Sports Life does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• GSA Sports Life does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content posted by users.
• Use of the Service is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GSA Sports Life and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through in-app messaging or email.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
